Sump Pump Failure

This was a basement in Bartlett that suffered from a sump pump failure. The before picture shows a SERVPRO of Streamwood, Bartlett, West Chicago, and Warrenville technician inspecting the damage that was created. After assessing the damage carefully, it was determined that the carpet could be saved and dried in place.  The after picture shows that most of the water damage occurred in the drywall near the sump pump. The trim was removed from the base of the drywall to properly provide airflow to the wet materials. Our technicians are trained to provide great service and assess what is necessary and reasonable.
