Small Barn Fire that Produced a lot of Soot

This was a small barn fire in Warrenville, Ill.  The fire produced a lot of smoke and soot.  As you can see in the before picture the ceiling was covered in soot. The picture shows a portion of the barn ceiling where the soot from the fire was the heaviest.  SERVPRO of Streamwood, Bartlett, West Chicago and Warrenville technicians were able to clean the ceiling with the use of lifts and a combination of dry sponge and power washers.  The ceiling was back to preloss condition.
